These images demonstrate the steps in a recent project for the Field House at the Fairfax Campus of George Mason University.
For the first phase panoramic photos were shot and retouched to show various painting options for the interior of the Field House. The approved image became a guide for the painters.
In the second phase we designed a mural celebrating the sports and athletic achievements of the athletes housed in this facility. We used photos of GMU athletes as a guide for the simplified images. The panoramic images shot for phase one provided a preview for approval before painting was begun on the 70' x 10' mural.
The third phase will consist of designing a "Wall of Fame" at eye level highlighting individual award-winning athletes.
